Just a Chair......

Today, March 3, the day my son was born 12 years ago!  Time really does go by fast.  I was 21 when I had him.  So, now you know I was not spending my 21st birthday at the bar partying, I was 4 months pregnant at the casino with my parents, and sixty dollars to gamble with.

We took him and his friend to see a movie at his request, the Chronicle, not my first choice but him and his friend loved it.  He also received an expensive BMX bike, I really don't get the boy thing,
but I am glad he is happy!

I have a chair to share with you tonight, nothing fancy,

It is painted in ASCP Pure White

For the chair seat cover, I painted 3 coats of ASCP Emile on heavy weight canvas, then I free handed the word love on it, and sealed it with clear & dark wax.

If you follow my blog, then you know that I experimented with painting fabric only because of my obsession with the Olmo chair from Anthropologie.

I did two more that I am going to sell, in ASCP Duck Egg Blue.

Here is the before of the chair,

One chair down, 19 to go!
